The 7th Employment Permit System-Korean Language Test (EPS-KLT) is set to happen on November 14, 2010. All who want to take the exam should register from September 20-23.The venues are yet to be announced.
Requirements For EPS-KLT Registration
Must be between 18 years of age and not more than 38 years old on November 14, 2010 (those born between November 15, 1972 And November 15, 1992)
Must be physically and mentally fit
Must not have any record of conviction or imprisonment for a heinous crime
Must have no record of deportation or departure orders from theRepublic of Korea
Must not be restricted from departure from the Philippines
Must not be restricted from departure from the Philippines
Must be e-Registered with active status in the POEA Manpower Registry
• Valid drivers license from home country/driving experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Course
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Male under 45 years old
Employment Package
• Annual salary of 102,000 dirhams (AED)
• After every 12 months, an end of year benefit of 21 days is granted
• Transport allowance of 3,600 AED per year

• One (1) economy flight home per year (travel allowance) in addition to flying the EMT in on commencement and return on contract end

The POEA issued a new memorandum that now requires all OFWs to be a member of the government housing loan program. The implementation of POEA’s Memorandum Circular 06 started last August 1.It now requires all departing OFWs to pay Php600 for Pag-Ibig fund before they can be issued an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC).
