Free Computer Training for OFWs in Saudi

Overseas Filipino Workers Cooperative Council (OFWCC), a Filipino group in Saudi Arabia will give free computer training for interested OFWs. The computer literacy seminar will start on September 9 and will run until November 4. 

Fortunato “Atoy" Esguerra of OFWCC said the short computer courses are available for OFWs who want to improve their computer skills with the current software applications using Windows-based programs. He also added that the project is part of OFWCCs continuing effort to help fellow OFWs improve their skills. 

The seminar will be held for eight Fridays starting on September 9 and will run until November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Laparilla Restaurant beside Speed Cash Remittance Center (Samba).

The CLS Program Director, Robert Perez, said the participants will be trained on Windows 7 operating system, Microsoft Office 7 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access) and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
