Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) would have an easier time getting in touch with the Philippine Embassy with the 24-hour hotline numbers that they can contact after office hours.

The numbers was posted in the website of the Philippine Embassy and the advisory that was released said that the hotline numbers are available to Filipinos after regular working hours (from 4pm to 8 am) and on weekends.

Deployment Ban of OFWs in Lebanon and 4 Countries To Be Strictly Enforced

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) yesterday strongly reiterated that restrictions against the processing and deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in certain areas of the globe remain in force in order to ensure their welfare and protection.

"As far as the DOLE is concerned, there remain in effect restrictions on the processing and deployment of OFWs in view of the peace and order situation in those areas," said Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz. 'The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is tasked to implement these restrictions imposed on both legitimate recruitment agencies and OFWs," she added.
