Please be informed that the Occupational Safety and Health training schedule will be on March 4-5, 2011 (Friday and Saturday) at the Occupational safety and Health Center, North Avenue, Diliman Quezon City. Please be there before 8am

POEA: Deployment Ban Imposed on Yemen, Libya and Bahrain

As of this writing, no overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) will be allowed to go to three Middle Eastern countries to work. The government recently suspended the recruitment and deployment of OFWs to Bahrain, Yemen and Libya because of the violent protests happening in the countries mentioned.

#1: NOTICE TO EPS WORKERS (Series of 2010- No. 0066)
 
The POEA- Government Placement Branch hereby serves notice to the following
EPS workers who have been provided by Human Resource Development Service
(HRD) Korea with their Offer/s of Employment and have accepted the Offer and
are awaiting for the issuance of CCVI, to report to POEA for their scheduled
Preliminary Training for Korean Employment Permit System.
